Last night he was the main preacher at the revivals in PA. God can really use that man. We were flipping all throughout our Bibles last night to follow him, but he didn't open his once. Instead he just quoted them from off the tip of his tongue... that's what I want to be able to do. (Maybe I won't be able to quote like he does, but hiding God's word in your heart is always the funnest thing to do.)
We got home around 12:10 a.m. and then Peter and I stayed up til 1:30 reading the Bible together and separate until we couldn't see the words on the pages anymore. Petey stayed longer, as usual, to do more music and programming on his comp.
To comment more on Sammy Allen, he is a cool guy, but it's fun to see him jolt with enthusiasm when he quotes the Scripture.
More on Noah: 500 YEARS! I could not stay so faithful. I could not live without the godly influences in my life. Even throughout the week I start to falter if I am not drinking from the Bible very much - there wasn't any Bible or Scriptures back during Noah's time... not til Moses were there scrolls even heard of, so... I couldn't definitly make it 500 years and be the ONLY one who feared God and served Him and do what is right amidst millions of people and be the only one to find favor in God's sight.
He's my #3 hero of the faith.
